Mr. Currys' Shrimp Tikka Masala Recipe


1- 16 bottle of Mr. Currys Butter Masala / Tikka Masala base sauce (2 cups)

2- 2 tablespoon of Mr. Currys’ spice mix (or can use 2 tablespoon of Turmeric powder, it will ber very light tasting)

3- 1 lb skin off and tail off shrimp (about 30/lb count), whashed well (it could be frozen or fresh, but not cooked shrimp)

4- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic

5- 2 tablespoon of cooking oil

6- Salt, to your taste

7- 8 oz (1 cups) of Heavy Whipping Cream

Cooking pan- 12 inch Skillet or Pan, as used in the pictures below

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: 1 lb skin off and tail off shrimp (about 30/lb count), whashed well/cleaned

Step 2: Heat a 12inch Skillet or a Pan on medium heat on top of a burner/stove

Step 3: Add 3 tablesppon oil into a 12inch Skillet or a Pan on medium heat

Step 4: Once the is medium hot, add one tablespoon of garlic

Step 5: Add 2 tablespoon of the Mr. Currys mix on the Skillet/Pan and mix (or add 2 tablesppon of Turmeric powder)

Step 6: Add the Shrimp to the pan mix well until spice mixed well with Shrimp

Step 7: Continue mixing/stirring until the Shrimps are  cooked  (abut 4 minutes)

Step 8: Add 2 cup of Butter Masala/Tikka Masala Sauce to the Skillet/pan

Step 9: Add 1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream to the Skillet/pan

Step 10: Mix all together in the Skillet/Pan very well over the medium heat

Step  11: Continue cooking over medium heat until the chicken cooked – about 5 to 10 minutes

Step 12: Let the sauce is look creamy, but make sure not to over cook the chicken, then the meet will get hard

    - Now pour the butter chicken to a serving pot and ready to serve
